I am sorry to hear of the passing of Monika. I knew her through the stories of her successor Werner Palz who now leads the “Monika network”. Inter-European University co-operation and student mobility are more important than ever in this uncertain world. We owe the likes of Monika a huge amount for fostering a positive environment for student mobility in Europe. Mobility encourages international co-operation, mutual understanding, self-reflection, tolerance, as well as fostering valuable knowledge and the acquisition of foreign language skills. This is in itself a great legacy for Monika and her network. R.I.P. Monika.
